Vorzbrvon began in a modest Los Angeles workshop with a simple but powerful vision: to create furniture that tells a story. We believed that in an age of mass production and disposable goods, there was still a place for pieces crafted with intention, skill, and respect for natural materials.

What started as one artisan's dedication to traditional woodworking techniques has grown into a collective of skilled craftspeople, each bringing their unique expertise to every project. Yet despite our growth, we've never lost sight of what matters most: the integrity of our craft and the sustainability of our practices.

Today, we continue to operate from our Los Angeles workshop, where the sounds of hand planes, chisels, and sanders blend with the scent of fresh-cut wood and natural oils. It's a place where tradition meets innovation, and where every piece of furniture begins its journey.

When our artisans steam-bend wood, they wait for the perfect moment. When applying finishes, they build up layers gradually, allowing proper curing between coats. When cutting joints, precision matters more than speed.

Our Environmental Commitment

Sustainable practices woven into every step

Responsible Sourcing

We source hardwoods from sustainably managed forests and work with suppliers who share our environmental values. Many of our pieces incorporate reclaimed wood, giving new life to materials that would otherwise be discarded.

Zero Waste Goal

Wood scraps become smaller pieces or components. Sawdust enriches gardens. We continuously work toward our goal of sending nothing to landfills, finding creative uses for every byproduct of our craft.

Natural Finishes

No harsh chemicals in our workshop. We use plant-based oils, natural waxes, and water-based finishes that are safe for both artisans and environment, while still providing excellent protection.

Local Production

By keeping production local, we reduce transportation emissions and support our Los Angeles community. Most materials come from within a few hundred miles of our workshop.
